1. About these terms
By using ruubiapp.com, joining the Ruubi waitlist, or using the Ruubi app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Ruubi.
Ruubi is built and operated by an individual based in Australia. When we say “Ruubi”, “we” or “us”, that’s who we mean. You can reach us at hello@ruubiapp.com.
2. The waitlist
Ruubi is currently in pre-launch. Joining the waitlist is free and doesn’t create an account or commit you to anything. We’ll use your details to tell you when Ruubi is ready and to send occasional product updates, as set out in our privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee access by a particular date, and launch timing and features may change.
3. Using Ruubi
Ruubi is designed for adults managing family life. To create an account you must be 18 or older. You’re responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
You can add information about other members of your household, including children. When you do, you confirm you’re their parent or guardian, or have their permission to share it.
When you share a plan, reminder or shopping list with someone else, they’ll see the information included in it.
4. AI-generated plans
Ruubi uses AI to help put together your weekly plan, meal ideas, recipes, shopping lists and reminders. These are suggestions to make your week easier, and they can sometimes be wrong or incomplete.
Please check what matters
Always check times, places and recipe ingredients yourself, especially for allergies, intolerances or dietary needs. Ruubi doesn’t provide medical, nutritional or professional advice.
5. Your content
The information you put into Ruubi stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run Ruubi for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our privacy policy. We don’t permit your family data to be used to train AI models.
6. Fair use
Please don’t:
- Use Ruubi for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive
- Add information about people you don’t have the right to share
- Try to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer the app or website
- Access someone else’s account without their permission
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
7. Pricing
We’ll always tell you the price before you’re charged.
8. Ruubi’s name and design
The Ruubi name, logo, website, app and their design belong to us. You’re welcome to use Ruubi for your family, but please don’t copy or reuse them without our permission.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under that law.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by relying on an AI-generated suggestion without checking it. Where our liability can be limited, it’s limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
10. Ending things
You can stop using Ruubi or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@ruubiapp.com. If we ever decide to close Ruubi, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a chance to save your information.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Ruubi grows. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and let you know by email if the changes are significant.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
